Just My Size

The other day Mommy & Daddy's friends the Hutchy's came over to play! They have a son Swift who is my age! I don't really have any buddies here my age, and sadly Swift and his family (Jane & James, new baby sister Scout) live in Russia most of the time. Not really sure where that is, but Daddy says it's far away. They are "missionaries"- too big a word for me, but I guess they help people there know Jesus. I bet they're great at it because they are so fun!

Anyway, it was like summer so Swift and I played with my "choo-choo" outside on the patio- so fun!

I was hungry for a snack and Swift was checkin' it out...

...I thought about sharing, but then I wasn't so sure...mom said we made sharing look fun (i think she was kidding though, because it wasn't as fun as I thought it would be)

And, this has nothing to do with Swift and me playing, but Mom wanted to show off my little crocs- I like them because I feel just like my Daddy!

Golf Cart Rides!

It is a beautiful summery day here and I got to hang out at GranDeb's and Grandpa Sam's! They have THE COOLEST thing I have ever seen- a golf cart!!! Yep, that's right, I get to ride around their neighborhood in this thing and it is so much fun! Check me out...

Also, I had to show off my sweet new hat- GO DEACS!!! I got it from my Grandpa's friend Bill- thanks, I love it! And, of course, Mom and Dad are so happy when I wear it!

Finally, I thought you'd want to see how crazy weather is out here- it snowed a TON this weekend but it's now 75 and sunny- up at G&G's the snow is still sticking around!

I love Easter eggs!

Can you tell? I had so much fun on Easter hunting for Easter eggs! Mom & Dad hid them in the house for me, my cousins Ella & Veronica, and my friend Corral. I found 6! I guess I'm too little to eat the candy, but I sure liked trying to eat the eggs! We had a super fun Easter Sunday with lots of family and friends! Even though I had a fever it was still a good time!

Phoenix... more spring break!

Ok, so I know I promised pictures from the rest of our trip... sorry, I've been a little busy learning how to walk. It's so cool to be able to get around more on my own! Mom and Dad are kind of funny though, they get so excited every time I take steps- wierd. Anyway, here's more pictures...

It's Spring Break Baby!

Well, my first official Spring Break trip... I have 2 words for you- ROAD TRIP! Mom, Dad, and I took a fun family road trip first to Taos, NM to ski with Marv and then on to Scottsdale to see more family and swim in the pool! Here's some pix from Taos, others from Arizona coming later...

Bed Head!

Hey guys... just wanted you to check out my awesome Saturday naptime bed head. I just got a little hot sleeping and my hair looked so cool when I woke up. Especially since I had my rockstar shirt on. I got to hang out with Baby Brooks too- I'm trying to show him the ropes of being a little boy. What a fun Saturday!

I'm 1!!!

Hi guys, guess what? I had my 1st birthday last week! Yay! It was so fun- I got to have lunch on my birthday with my buddies Presley and Brooks, and then that night I went to my dad's indoor soccer game and cheered him on! Friday night was my party- we went to Red Robin for dinner (I love that place because they give you balloons and as many french fries as you want!). Then, we came back to our house and had cake with a Deac-Deac on it!

**Side note from mom- Xander's first "word" is Deac-Deac for our dog Deac. Really, if you point to the dog and ask him "who is that?" he'll say "deac-deac-deac" or some equivalent. Pretty cute and funny!

Ok, back to me... so I was kind of into my cake, but mostly I wanted to share it with Deac. Then I got some super cool presents too! Thanks all my friends and family for making my first birthday the best! Enjoy the pictures...
