It's been awhile...

Well, haven't I just been the all time blogging slacker!  I guess that's what happens when you are a busy man of 4 and 3/4 years old.  Whew!  Let's see, I'm in school, I go to Junior Music Academy, I do my chores, watch my shows, and then there was the whole "moving to a new house" deal.  Needless to say, it's been a full couple of months!

Anyway, enough of my excuses, here's some shots of what we've been up to... Merry Christmas to everyone!!!

Yep, Kolby is still obsessed with PINK!  When we ask her what she wants for Christmas, she either says, "Pink!" or "Pink Legos"...I decided to use some of my money to get her the legos for Christmas- I can't wait for her to open them!

Today, I played Joseph in the Christmas Show at my school.  What?  Who says Joseph can't wear Nike shorts and Spider Man shoes?  Mommy thinks this picture is hilarious- Mary looks scared, and Joseph unsure how to comfort her...

Ok, fine, I admit it, I've been making this face a lot lately.  We call it my mad face, and the other day when Mom had had enough she told me to make the face and then she took my picture- I have to say I kinda scared myself!  I'm trying not to get so frustrated and use my words instead.  It's hard.  Just like trying to kick the thumb-sucking habit.  Hard.  Don't wanna do it.

Got some pretty fun cousin time at Thanksgiving with River!  We even got to meet Chip at the Buffs game!  Kolby was super scared of him, but River and I thought it was so cool to high five him, hug him, and do a picture with him!  Go Buffs!

Catching Up...

Whew!  Can you tell school has started and my schedule has gotten busy?  I am in school 3 days a week so not as much time to blog...sorry!  But, I'm back with a few photos of stuff we've been up to.  Getting excited for Halloween, playing in the leaves, and it might even snow here this week!

Kolby hitting the farmers market in style with Mommy...

Touch-a-Truck!!!  We got to climb in a firetruck, zamboni, ambulance, street sweeper, and some tractors!

Go Buffs!  They need our help this year!  We went to the game on Saturday- we saw the band, Ralphie, and even tailgated!  Woo hoo!

Fun in the leaves!  Kolby and I raked leaves, jumped in the them, pushed them with our trucks, and had a blast!  Oh, except for when I accidentally hit Kolby in the eye with the broom handle...not pretty.  But she recovered quickly as you can see below...

last week of summer...

Well, I guess it's kind of the last week of summer...doesn't feel like it because it's still warm/sunny, but school starts next week!  I'm in Pre-K and Kolby is doing a 1 day playschool.  I can't wait!  Here are some pictures of what we've been up to- lots of adventures before we head back to school!!!

Kolby is now sleeping in her big girl bed!  She totally loves it and doesn't even try to get out!

On Wednesday, we went with Mommy and Debby to Berry Patch Farms and picked strawberries- yum!

On Wednesday, Daddy surprised Mommy with a date night...4th row at the Mumford & Sons concert at Red Rocks.  Apparently, that is AMAZING...I am more of a hip hop fan myself, but they said the concert was the BEST!

Since it's never too early to start thiking Halloween costumes, here's mine!  I finally completed my cowboy look from camp by getting authentic cowboy boots this week!  Yee Haw!

More pictures from camp!

Hey Hey!  It's been another great week at Crooked Creek!  Here's more of the adventures we've been having...
Playing soccer with my new buddy, Brendan-he's really good and is helping me learn more about soccer!

Here's Kolby coloring with Miss Lydia- she's from Tennesee and Kolby loves her! She's also mommy's running buddy at camp!

Argh!  The campers gave us pirate "booty" from the volleyball tournament yesterday!

Yep, this camp has some pretty AMAZING views!!!

Today was Daddy's day off, so we went to Winter Park Ski Area and played!  Daddy and I did a maze, and we all had lunch!

More fun at camp!!!  Playing superheros, checking out the maintenance shed, and Mommy's friend Leslie (and her daughter Andy) came to visit!  I don't have any pictures, but today Dida came up to visit too- we had so much fun!  We did legos, went on an adventure hike, and ate BURGERS for lunch!!!  Thanks for coming to see us, Dida!  Double!

Crooked Creek: Here we go again!

Howdy Y'all!  We are back in the bloggin' world postin' from Crooked Creek Ranch!  Ok, enough cowboy talk...sorry, I got super into Western Night this week!  Check out some pics from our first week at camp!

Here's Kolby and me ready for the Western Tableau- pretty cute cowboy and cowgirl (at least that's what Mom kept saying...)

Here I am with my new friends- Hannah & Noah!  It started to rain and then we saw a rainbow!  Cool!

The next day was Hike Day!  I decided to go with Daddy because the girls were just at the cabin going potty...oh, did I forget to mention that Kolby is learning to "put her pee in the potty"?  Yep, she's doing great!  And I get a treat every time since I'm her coach/encourager/peer pressuring big bro!

Today was the perfect outside day- not too hot, not too cold, juuuussssstttt right!  So, before dinner, Kolby and I went "fishing" in the creek and mom snapped some photos.  We had lots of fun and only got a little messy!  Happy Summer everyone!

*ps- I also learned how to ride my pedal bike without the training wheels today! Hopefully video will be coming soon...stay tuned!

I am a little overwhelmed by how long it's been since I have blogged, and so many fun things have happened!  But, I have to start somewhere, so here you go!  My dad was my soccer coach this year and we had our last game last night!  It was such a fun season and we celebrated with blue frosted cupcakes!  Yum!  We also got participation medals- I'm calling mine a reward...oh and in case you're wondering I scored 3 goals last night- one with an assist from Edward, another on an assist from Kaylan...it's all about the team!

PINK PARTY!!!

So, Kolby turned 2 a couple weeks ago and all she kept saying when we asked her about her party was "PINK CAKE!" We decided to go with it and had a totally pink party!  It was pretty fun...here's some pictures from her actual birthday, and her party!  Happy Birthday Little Missy (that's what I sometimes call my sister...)!!!

My future career as a photographer...

So I've been loving my new camera, and I figure since I'm old enough to actually take pictures, I'm old enough to have more say in what photos appear on my blog...so, enjoy some recent fun I've had with friends, family, and of course, puppy!

Oh, and be sure to check out my new "machine shirt" in the last photo (yes, I know it's sideways...I'm old enough to take the picture, but I don't mess with formatting yet!)

Lots of Brother/Sister Fun!

Mom says she thinks we've "turned a corner" on Kolby and me playing better together...Not totally sure what that means, but it sounded good so we'll go with it! The last couple weeks we've had lots of fun doing lots of different things together! Here's just a few...

On Monday, while Daddy was at club, we made peanut butter cookies and banana bread! We were good helpers, and even better taste-testers! Yum!

Last weekend, Mommy was at a YL retreat, and we went to lots of parks with Daddy! This was on the tire swing at Wash Park- we were singing and having so much fun!

Mommy & Debby made us crowns at the retreat- we are children of the King! That makes us prince and princess I guess! Anyway, we had fun wearing our crowns around this week...

My own pictures!!!

Yep, that's right, Debby and Dida got me my very own camera for Christmas and here is my photographic debut! Mommy and I did a building site in my room yesterday so I documented with pictures! Check out my cool line-up of trucks! They carried all the materials from the lumber yard to the building site...
