"Heavy"

Lots has happened in the last week, and I'm pretty busy eating Halloween candy now, so here's a quick rundown...

It snowed last week so we played outside! Kolby- not a huge fan. Meanwhile, Mommy & I built a snowman, snow fort, and Daddy & I shoveled (my fav!)

Last night was Halloween so we headed to Brooks' house! I was a puppy (my mom's costume that Debby made her!), and Kolby was Piglet. Kolby kept saying "treat", "thank you", and "heavy"- as she got more and more candy, the pumpkin got heavy I guess. YUM- I LOVE CANDY!

Here's our fam all dressed up- Daddy was some funny looking guy named "Goose" from an old movie (Mommy said he looked good), and you can't really tell, but Mommy was "Super Mom"- she had a superman shirt, an apron, and her work out clothes. She claimed with that outfit she could "do it all!". She is pretty super...

Surfboards, Pumpkins, & Leaves, Oh My!

Here's what we've been up to the last few weeks...

On the coldest day yet this fall, Brooks and I decided it was time for the beach! Surf's Up Dude!

Last weekend we wanted to watch football- Mommy keeps saying "Tebow! Tebow!"-so we had dinner in the family room...Kolby is such a big girl, she gets to sit at the table with me!

Someone put pumpkins on our front porch last week- thank you!-and Kolby keeps trying to carry them while saying "heavy!"

And, yesterday, I led our family in one of my favorite projects- sweeping the back patio! This time we swept the leaves into a pile for Kolby and me to play in, yipee!

Aunt Katy Got Married!!!

Last weekend our Aunt Katy got married to Aaron! Yipee! Our whole family got to be in the wedding, AND we each got to wear a different costume (yep, that's what I called the wedding outfits, deal with it). Here are some pictures...

at first, Kolby wasn't so sure about this whole "flower girl" thing...but didn't she look cute?

more summer fun...

Ok, so I have been pretty busy since we got home from camp- whew! Summer is so fun! Here's what I've been up to...

• swim lessons- yep, i like getting my head wet now! i can jump in (even off the diving board!) without anyone catching me, and I can swim under water! i use my reaching arms and digging arms plus lots of kicks to swim to the side!


• camp hickey- our fun friends from YL (Clare, Julia, & Kathleen Hickey) do a camp each summer and i was old enough to go this year! we made bouncy balls, tie-dyed shirts, went on a scavenger hunt, and even did a slip-n-slide


• keystone- we went up to keystone last weekend and rode the gondola up to the top of the ski mountain! and, guess what? we took Deac in the gondola with us! crazy!

Last week Kolby accidentally hit Mommy in the eye with a block- Mommy had a black eye for a week!


We like to pretend Deac is a horse and go for a ride...

Kolby, Mommy, and I like to wear our aprons and be "little chefs"! This day we were making cookies...yummy!

More fun at camp...sweet views, Kolby working hard and giving a toast to July 4th, and Kolby & me being silly in her bed!

A horse named...

SAM!!! This week at camp they did horse rides for the little kids like me! We got there and the horse was named Sam- just like Dida! I got to pet him, feed him sugar cubes (that's a horse's favorite treat!) and then Mommy and I went for a ride! Our last week at camp they do it again and we're going to take Kolby too!

ok, so mommy and daddy wish i didn't get up so early, but today we were in for a real treat at 6:30am! mommy was gonna go ride her bike, but right when she left she came back to get me because there was a MOOSE in the parking lot! then, when we went out to see it, we found out there were 2! mommy followed them around camp on her bike and the 2nd picture is of the moose at the front door of the adult guest lodge- CRAZY!
