more summer fun...

Ok, so I have been pretty busy since we got home from camp- whew! Summer is so fun! Here's what I've been up to...

• swim lessons- yep, i like getting my head wet now! i can jump in (even off the diving board!) without anyone catching me, and I can swim under water! i use my reaching arms and digging arms plus lots of kicks to swim to the side!


• camp hickey- our fun friends from YL (Clare, Julia, & Kathleen Hickey) do a camp each summer and i was old enough to go this year! we made bouncy balls, tie-dyed shirts, went on a scavenger hunt, and even did a slip-n-slide


• keystone- we went up to keystone last weekend and rode the gondola up to the top of the ski mountain! and, guess what? we took Deac in the gondola with us! crazy!

Last week Kolby accidentally hit Mommy in the eye with a block- Mommy had a black eye for a week!

Kolby, Mommy, and I like to wear our aprons and be "little chefs"! This day we were making cookies...yummy!

More fun at camp...sweet views, Kolby working hard and giving a toast to July 4th, and Kolby & me being silly in her bed!

A horse named...

SAM!!! This week at camp they did horse rides for the little kids like me! We got there and the horse was named Sam- just like Dida! I got to pet him, feed him sugar cubes (that's a horse's favorite treat!) and then Mommy and I went for a ride! Our last week at camp they do it again and we're going to take Kolby too!

ok, so mommy and daddy wish i didn't get up so early, but today we were in for a real treat at 6:30am! mommy was gonna go ride her bike, but right when she left she came back to get me because there was a MOOSE in the parking lot! then, when we went out to see it, we found out there were 2! mommy followed them around camp on her bike and the 2nd picture is of the moose at the front door of the adult guest lodge- CRAZY!

Day 1 of...summer camp?

Well, when we woke up on our first day at camp, it felt more like Snow Camp...this is what we woke up to on June 19th in Colorado...SNOW!!! We made the most of it, though, and later it turned to rain. But, now, a couple days later it is sunny and hot!

So far, I am LOVING camp! I have a new friend named Elia (she's 4), and I love being here! I have a sandbox (aka building site) to dig in, we swam in the pool today, and I even got to go to club this morning!

Yesterday we saw a rodeo with lots of horses too! I am riding my bike all around camp and having a blast!

I'll try to keep putting up pictures, but there's just so much to do here!

Breakfast in our jammies...we eat breakfast in our "cabin", and usually eat lunch/dinner in the dining hall- it's so fun because there is always music!

First Swim of the Summer!

Yesterday it was 90 and time for a swim! Our big pool isn't ready yet, so I filled up the small pool right outside on the patio! I love a good project...

Kolby and I had fun swimming until it got too windy. Dad said I looked like an alien with the goggles on... I'll let you be the judge.

Birthdays & Bunnies!

Happy Easter Everybody! Hope you had fun hunting for eggs and eating candy like we did! And, I hope you got some construction machines in your eggs like I did- thanks Debby!

Before I get to Easter pictures, though, on Saturday we had a birthday party for the babies (who aren't really babies anymore!) at River's house! They had fun eating cupcakes and getting chocolate all over!

Now, on to our Easter celebration! As usual, we had a BIG party with lots of family & friends- we hunted for eggs (we were still finding them in the backyard today!), played silly "Minute to Win It" games, and ate lots of yummy food!
